- Indicated for the inhibition of physiological lactation (breast feeding milk) soon after delivery.
- Indicated for suppression of already established lactation (breast feeding milk).
- Dostinex is used to stop breast milk production (lactation) soon after childbirth, stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.
- It is prescribed in case of high level of the hormone prolactin in the body.
- It is used with cases of milk secretion from the breast other than during breastfeeding times.
